The Craft
A Product Made with Time,
Not Haste
Every candle takes three weeks. Every soap takes six. We let the oils settle, the scents develop, and the craft speak for itself.
The Journey
Five Steps from Field to Flame
Scroll to follow the journey of each fragrance-from the fields of Grasse to the shelves of our Şarköy atelier.

Italy, France → Turkey
Sourcing
We travel to Grasse, Tuscany, and Sicily to hand-select our essential oils. Each supplier is visited personally. We evaluate the harvest conditions, the extraction method, and most importantly-the scent. Only the finest make it into our formulations.
Bergamot from Calabria. Lavender from altitude in Grasse. Iris roots cured for 3 years in Florence.

The Formula
Blending
Each fragrance is developed over months of testing. We work with the essential oils to understand how they behave in our wax blends-how they throw cold, how they evolve when heated, how they linger. A Christina Constanza fragrance is never rushed.
Top, heart, and base notes are balanced over weeks of iteration. We test at 6%, 8%, and 10% fragrance loads.

The Atelier
Melting & Pouring
Coconut and soy wax is melted at precise temperatures. The fragrance is added at exactly the right moment-too hot and the delicate molecules break down; too cool and the oil doesn't bind properly. Each pour is by hand.
Wax is heated to 65°C. Fragrance added at 60°C. Poured into hand-blown glass vessels in our Şarköy studio.

The Wait
Curing
This is where most makers cut corners. We don't. Candles cure for a minimum of two weeks before testing. Soaps cure for six. During this time, the fragrance molecules bond fully with the wax, and the soap's lather quality develops. Patience is an ingredient.
Candles: 14 days minimum. Soaps: 42 days minimum. We never rush a batch.

The Final Touch
Quality Control & Packaging
Every single candle and soap is inspected before packaging. We check surface, scent throw, wick centering, and weight. Failed products are never sold. Each piece is hand-wrapped in kraft paper and placed in an unbleached box with a cotton ribbon.
Zero plastic. Fully recyclable. The vessel itself is a reusable piece-a vase, a vessel for cotton buds, a keepsake.

Packaging
Beautiful on the Outside, Responsible Within
Our packaging is designed to be reused before it is recycled. Candle vessels are hand-blown glass that become vases. Soap wraps are recycled kraft paper printed with vegetable-based inks.
The outer boxes are unbleached card. The ribbon is cotton. No plastic film. No unnecessary layers. Just what the product needs, and nothing more.

The Standard
Quality That Cannot Be Rushed
01
Fragrance Load Testing
Every oil is tested at multiple percentages. We settle on the minimum needed for maximum scent throw-never overwhelming, always deliberate.
02
Burn Testing
Each candle formulation undergoes 50+ hours of burn testing. We check for tunneling, mushrooming, and scent consistency before any batch is approved.
03
pH Testing (Soaps)
Every soap batch is zap-tested and measured for pH. Only bars testing 7-9 on the pH scale leave our atelier.
