What wax are Christina Constanza candles made of?
A coconut and soy wax blend. Every candle is poured by hand in the Şarköy atelier, in small batches, and scented with essential oils rather than synthetic fragrance.
How long does a candle burn?
The Signature and Réserve tins are listed at 35–45 hours of burn time. The Essentiel tins are listed at 65–75 hours. The figure is a range, not a promise: a long wick, a draught or a very short first burn all shorten it.
How big is a tin, and what does it cost?
The tins are 8 cm wide and 6 cm tall. Signature is €14.02, Réserve is €21.29 and Essentiel is €10.47. Scent families and collections are listed on the candle collection page.
Where do the scents come from?
The essential oils arrive from the hills of Grasse in France and the fields of Tuscany in Italy — two regions that have defined perfumery for centuries. They are blended in our Turkish atelier.
Are the candles vegan and cruelty-free?
Yes. The formulations are 100% vegan and are never tested on animals. The fragrance is clean: no phthalates and no synthetic endocrine disruptors. The packaging is made to be reused or recycled.
How do I get the best burn from a tin?
On the first burn let the wax melt all the way to the edge of the tin — roughly one hour per 2.5 cm of diameter — which prevents tunnelling later. Trim the wick to about 5 mm before every burn, keep the tin away from draughts, and never burn it for more than four hours at a time.
Is the candle cured before it is sent?
Yes. Every tin is cured for two weeks before it ships, so the fragrance has settled into the wax by the time it reaches you.
How is shipping calculated?
Shipping is calculated after we confirm your order, and we write to you with the exact cost before anything is charged. Orders over €100 ship free.
Where are the candles made, and can I visit?
In our atelier in Şarköy 59800, Tekirdağ, Türkiye, where the Aegean meets the Marmara. The atelier is a workshop rather than a shop, so visits are by appointment: write to info@christina-constanza.com.
